They are lightweight yet strong, weighing only 1/12 of glass while possessing an impact resistance over 200 times that of glass. They provide excellent thermal insulation, with their hollow structure (featuring multi-layer honeycomb or wave designs) significantly reducing heat conduction for prominent energy-saving effects. Their light transmittance is adjustable, typically ranging from 70-88%, and UV coatings can be added to reduce UV transmittance, catering to the needs of different crops.
